Dr. Luthringer is a graduate of Dartmouth College and completed his medical degree at Rush University in Chicago. He subsequently completed his Orthopaedic surgery residency at the NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital/Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City prior to completing his Shoulder and Elbow fellowship at Rothman Orthopaedic Institute in Philadelphia, PA. During his fellowship he received extensive training specializing in complex surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow. Dr. Luthringer returned to Chicago for a second fellowship in Hand, Upper Extremity, and Microvascular Surgery at Midwest Orthopedic at Rush. He was the consulting team physician for the Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox.
Dr. Luthringer looks forward to joining his family in South Carolina and providing comprehensive upper extremity care to the upstate community.
