Dr. Jason Dickherber is a fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon, applying advanced techniques of both operative and non-operative treatment to conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow to minimize pain while maximizing function.

Dr. Dickherber was raised in rural Missouri and obtained his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Saint Louis University. While at SLU he pursued additional training in anatomy and neuroanatomy that included teaching and research opportunities. He obtained his medical degree from Marshall University where he received Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Society honors. Dr. Dickherber subsequently completed his orthopaedic training at the University of Chicago followed by a fellowship at Brown University in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery. During his training Dr. Dickherber contributed to numerous publications and presentations on a variety of orthopaedic topics with a focus on hand and upper extremity conditions. Dr. Dickherber provides comprehensive hand and wrist care with a particular interest in upper extremity nerve and fracture reconstruction. Outside of the office Dr. Dickherber enjoys spending time with his wife and their growing family, playing golf, and staying active. His family is excited to call the upstate home and he looks forward to helping his community maximize function.
