Dr. Mirkovic is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with 35 years’ experience in treating a wide range of spine conditions, injuries, and disorders. He utilizes the latest advancements in both surgical and non-surgical treatments to provide the best care for his patients.
Dr. Mirkovic is a highly respected medical professional with a particular interest in the treatment of sports spine injuries, sports-specific rehabilitation, and return-to-play decisions. With years of experience in the field, Dr. Mirkovic has dedicated his career to helping athletes recover from spinal injuries and safely return to peak performance. Dr. Mirkovic served as the team physician for the Chicago Bears and consultant for the Green Bay Packers. Dr. Mirkovic earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine Houston, and pursued a Spine Fellowship at the University of California. He and his family are excited to become part of the Upstate community.
