About Dr. Efird

Dr. William Efird is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in advanced hip and knee replacement procedures using modern surgical and minimally invasive techniques to restore mobility and improve quality of life.

He specializes in anterior hip replacement, total knee replacement, robotically assisted partial knee replacement, revision joint replacement surgery, and treatment of complex hip and knee conditions.

Dr. Efird earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of Vermont Medical Center, and completed a fellowship in Hip and Knee Replacement at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Efird sees patients at all three CONA locations: Spartanburg, Duncan and Greenville.
