About Dr. Brown

Dr. David Brown is a fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity orthopaedic surgeon specializing in advanced operative and non-operative care for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.

He specializes in shoulder injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, upper extremity trauma, arthroscopy procedures, and joint replacement surgery with a focus on restoring function while minimizing pain.

Dr. Brown completed his medical degree at the University of Massachusetts, orthopedic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center, and advanced hand and upper extremity fellowship training through the University of Pittsburgh Fellowship Program.

Dr. Brown is Spartanburg’s only fellowship-trained and CAQ-certified hand and upper extremity orthopaedic trauma surgeon and sees patients at all three CONA locations: Spartanburg, Duncan and Greenville.
