How is elbow tenotomy performed?

Elbow tenotomy is performed as an outpatient procedure under general anesthesia. After the patient is comfortably positioned and completely asleep, a CONA upper extremity specialist removes the unhealthy and inflamed tendon part and attaches the healthy part to the elbow bone.
